What is my most generous interpretation of what happened?
Whew.
That would, indeed, be too long to write in this moment and too intimate to share. But here's the gist:
This beautiful, strong, resilient, reciprocal love isn't choosing to wound itself or anyone attached to it. Of course, it wouldn't.
It's growing us, not harming us.
Growth comes to serve, not harm.
So, if the love is a good, God thing -and it is- and if the growth is a good, God thing -and it is- then we are a good, God thing.
